Marcio L. Rodrigues is a senior scientist at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), Brazil, and also serves as one of the coordinators of the Inova Program, dedicated to fostering innovation within Fiocruz. He is an editor for several scientific journals, with a primary research focus on how fungal cells utilize extracellular vesicles to export biologically active molecules. With collaborators from the Pasteur Institute and the University of Birmingham, he co-founded and serves as the Brazilian coordinator of the Pasteur International Research Unit titled “Fungal Extracellular Vesicles”.
